Early years furniture : Our shelving range for key stage one
This range is suitable for children over 3 years and follows our classic yet simple design, with rounded edges for safety. All the following examples are available as back to back, which are to be used against each other or against a wall to maximise available space, and freestanding, which can stand on their own to create focused areas of learning. These also have a range of additional boards that can be mounted on the reverse to enhance or create further micro environments.

This unit when used at right angles to a wall or another unit will create
a haven for the enjoyment of books. The sloping top shelf allows an
attractive display of book collections, whilst the lower levels allow
storage and display of supporting resources for children to explore
independently. There is also a useful space accessible from the top for
adults to store teaching resources. This unit can be used in conjunction
with our trolley for flexibility of use in available space.

Our paint stand features a durable inlaid metal strip and strong magnets
to secure paper and a low level shelf for paint trays, brushes and water
pots, additional shelves are for resources and the storage of paper. There is
a useful space accessible from the top for adults to store paints and
other items. This unit can be used in conjunction with our trolley for
flexibility of use in available space.

This useful store can be used within a home corner or part of a planned
role play area. It enables independent play through easy access to
dressing-up clothes, and shelves that create clearly defined storage
areas that can house a selection of accessories such as hats, bags and
scarves. Positioned below the hooks is a mirror to encourage and build
confidence.This unit can be used in conjunction with our trolley for
flexibility of use when maximising available space.

This multi use role play unit encourages children to explore different
roles through the use of the themed window allowing them to interact as
the shopkeeper, banker or create their own puppet shows. The unit has
four castors, two of which are lockable, enabling easy positioning or allowing it to be moved into the outdoor environment.

This rectangular table is available in two sizes. Both work well when
used in conjunction with the reverse of our freestanding units when
fitted with either a display board, magnetic whiteboard, mirror or
chalkboard, or with a freestanding display screen for the creation
of themed area of investigation.

To extend the use of our furniture we have introduced a trolley which
has been designed to accommodate our shelf, book, paint and role
store units.The side bars adjust to take either a freestanding or
back to back unit and has two free moving castors and two fixed
locking castors to prevent unwanted movement whilst in use. This
flexibility enables selected units to be moved within the classroom to
enhance provision or extend a home corner or role play area, where
available space may be at a premium, or to a covered area outside to
create an outdoors environment.

Our display screen is mounted on two wide metal feet for strength and
stability, and is ideal for dividing space within a larger play environment,
creating themed spaces for focussed activities and low level displays
when used with one of our range of play tables. It is available in a wide
